Founder Story

Cindy Moon, the founder of Muun, developed sensitive, eczema-prone skin after immigrating from Korea to Australia, where the dry climate triggered severe dryness, redness, and flare-ups.

After years of travelling back to Korea for clinic treatments that didn’t last, she discovered modelling masks — the final step used in Korean skincare clinics to cool, calm, and lock in hydration. A ritual Korean women have long used at home instead of relying on expensive clinic treatments.

In 2025, Cindy quit her job and returned to Korea to create Muun’s first product, enhanced with Matcha for its anti-inflammatory benefits, and to introduce this ritual to Australians and beyond.

Muun Skincare brings the calming rituals of Korean skincare clinics into everyday life.
